Whitterview #19 and Instagram Influencer Alyssa

Welcome back to the Whitterview after a week hiatus!

Now, I'm sure we all have an Instagram account and all of us follow at least one Influencer. (Not a celebrity, but someone with a big social media following that you envy for being the epitome of picture perfect.)

I follow a select few of Influencers and today, I want you to get to know future NICU nurse who is also one of my favorite Influencers to follow: Alyssa. Otherwise known to the Instagram world as @lyssieelou_ - For me, she's one of my favorites, very relatable, a recent college grad like me and loves to shop where I like to shop too!

So let's get to it. The 19th Whitterview-

Tell me about yourself:
Alyssa: I grew up in Andover MA right outside of Boston, I went to Northeastern University for Nursing School and just graduated.

Is there a specific type of nurse you want to be?
Alyssa: Yes I have been working in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. I want to continue to be a NICU nurse for the majority of my career and have thought about going back to school to become a Nurse Practitioner.

How did you become an Influencer? Was there one certain post or another that helped your following?
Alyssa: It kind of happened by chance. Obviously the bikini pics initially got a lot of attention and from there it just picked up

Does it creep you out a bit with all the random strangers commenting on your photos; or are you used to it?
Alyssa: Definitely used to it! I don't even read all the comments anymore. I really just post for me and kind of forget about the attention they get until I am bored and find myself scroll through them all. But I do have family and coworkers following me so I try to delete the inappropriate ones and keep it PG for everyones benefit.

Do you have any companies you would like to be an Influencer for?
Alyssa: There are actually a few companies I already represent and a few I can't tell you about yet (but posts are coming soon!) that I am super excited about. I loved collaborating for Tobi, and Daniel Wellington since I already shop at those store it was fun being able to partner with stores I have been following and shopping at forever.

You literally have a DREAM closet with amazing clothing- where do you like to shop?
Alyssa: To be honest I buy most of my clothes at Marshalls or Forever 21. I really like to find the hidden gems no one else has that stick to my budget.

What are your daily makeup products?
Alyssa: To start, I definitely have a cosmetics problem haha. I have slowly tried to narrow down my collection of creams and makeups and stick to the basics. I am a huge fan of all of Drunk Elephants products. They have a great skincare line. I have tried endless eye creams for dark circles and bags but I am not sold on any just yet, still waiting for the magic potion. My daily makeup includes neutrogena tinted moisturizer, highlighter pallet, better than sex waterproof mascara (since getting my eyelash extensions off), sephora felt pen eyeliner, and Anastasia eyebrow pencil. I like to keep it light for daily wear.

You’re one of my favorite influencers, who’s your favorite?
Alyssa: Aw thank you so much that means a lot! I really love Elise Cook. She is so beautiful and inspiring. All of her posts are absolutely breathtaking. She is so positive all the time and seems to be living her best life I love the daily motivation to keep the negative people and energy away and to always focus on happiness.

Who is your celebrity crush?
Alyssa: Die hard Drake fan but I can't forget my OG crush and forever love Megan Fox

Meet Jenna Compono!  Tell me about yourself JC: I grew up in NY with a huge family. I am one of six and have over 50 first cousins. My mom is one of seven and my dad is one of eight, so you can imagine the amount of cousins at my family parties! I loved growing up with a huge family. Two Time Challenge Champ Ashley Mitchell in Whitterview 48

I'm sure we've all asked ourselves about what would we do if we won a million dollars? I have, countless times. So I decided to go to the queen of MTV's The Challenge and ask the million dollar winner herself. We first met Ashley Mitchell on The Real World: Ex-Plosion, from there she went on to gracing our television screens on The Challenge series. Ashley is at the top of the list for Challenge vets as she has won the most money. She won season 29 and season 32 (Invasion of the Champions and Final Reckoning.) She won a million dollars in season 32. I mean, she does hold the record for most money won by a cast member and the record for the most money won in a single season- so that does make her the queen, am I right? I couldn't be the only one shocked that she went home right away this new season of The Challenge. (Yo- wish she could have been brought back somehow to shake up the game!) Anyway, with all this being said let's get to know the queen herself in...
