Bachelor Night One Recap with Lacey Mark in Whitterview 42

Did you miss me? Its been quite a few weeks since the last Whitterview. But I'm finally back (sort of) to kick off 2019. What do I mean by sort of? Well this week Lacey Mark from Nick Viall's season of The Bachelor is back to take over the Whitterview to recap the three hour long premiere of this seasons The Bachelor. Welcome back to the Whitterview! I'm passing the torch off to Lacey this week and let's dive in to the episode! What do you think of these viewing parties around the country? Why do you think they’re doing it now? LM:   I was supposed to be at the Park City, Utah one but couldn’t swing it with my current schedule! I think to an extent they’re fun (interacting with fans and getting them more involved in the franchise is a good move), but I think it was a bit overdone.    I kept finding myself asking when the actual episode would start because we were just seeing watch party after watch party.   They’re obviously doing it for the ratings and to...

The Bachelorette Night One Recap with Lacey Mark in #Whitterview #22

Last night, marked the first night of the new season of The Bachelorette. Fellow Minnesotan like me, Becca Kufrin started her journey to find love. To mark the new season, I wanted to make this interview Bachelorette themed.  Lacey Mark who has previously been on the #Whitterview and one of my favorite people on this planet has broke down this episode of The Bachelorette.  Lacey, was a contestant on Nick Viall's season of The Bachelor and was on Bachelor in Paradise last summer.  In the wise words of Becca, the Bachelorette- "Let's do the damn thing!" What were your thoughts on the entrances?  LM: Well the guy with the ox should have sprung for the camel obviously. But overall, I think they were entertaining! I genuinely laughed out loud at the entrance with the hearse.  Very clever.  The choir was also cool.  To everyone who made an Arie reference in their entrance---you are cancelled, unsubscribe. Who was your fav...

Lacey Mark & Alyssa Rose: Best Friend edition of #Whitterview #13

If you haven't read my second and fifth #Whitterview, go back and read them. There you can get to meet Lacey Mark and Alyssa Rose who are both back for a second #Whitterview, this time together in my best friend edition. Let’s see if they really know each other and if their answers are the same. How did you two meet? AR: We met when I was co-hosting Swipe Drunk Love on Barstool Sports. It's funny - Lacey was a big Barstool fan and I was a big The Bachelor fan, so we were kind of mutually geeking out on each other. LM: We met at Barstool! I was a guest on Alyssa’s show and it was love at first sight. Are you the type of people to text each other all day, everyday? AR: I wouldn't say it's all day every day but we definitely text frequently. Usually to talk about how much we hate men and how much we love fattening food. LM: I would classify it as ‘frequently’ Do you live close to each other? AR: About a mile and a half away. Which in NYC ...

#Whitterview #2 with Lacey Mark of the Bachelor

Originally Posted to Her Campus Let’s go back to Nick Viall’s season of the Bachelor and think back to the first night. Remember the girl on the camel? Ah yes, Lacey Mark. The Harry Potter lovin’ girl who originally applied for Ben Higgins' season. She graced our television screens during Nick’s season, although it was short, we later saw her on Bachelor in Paradise. Lacey is currently a Social Media Director at a PR agency and wishes she could be Blake Lively for the day, solely because she gets to go home to Ryan Reynolds every night (but who wouldn't want to be Blake?) But now’s your chance to really get to know the girl who would pick Professor Snape over Dumbledore! Tell me a little about your background LM: I grew up in a smaller town in northern New Jersey. Kind of your standard, boring suburb there was never really that much to do, but I made some of the best friends of my life that I still keep up with today. I went to Syracuse after graduating, whe...
