Rachel Swindler in Whitterview 74

Wow. It’s been a while since I wrote one of these! I’ve been neglecting writing interviews and I hope now I can finally get back into interviewing, writing, and delivering more interviews.

This week, I am bringing you a fan favorite from the world of Big Brother! She was a house guest on Big Brother 20. A singer, actress, Tiktoker, host, and reality star, I am so pleased for you to get to know: RACHEL SWINDLER!

Rachel seems like such a sweet, compassionate, joyful, fun, loving soul and when she’s taking applications for her new best friend, sign me up.

Alright, well let’s get to it. Time for you all to get to know, Rachel!

———

Tell me about you!

RS: I was born and raised in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. I was raised by my mother and father Chuck and Loretta Swindler and I have an older brother named Josh who is a nurse and on the front lines during the COVID-19 Pandemic. I absolutely loved growing up in Myrtle Beach! In high school I was very active I did student council, track, cheerleading and theater. I loved every second of being involved in school! I was homecoming queen my senior year of high school, and then went on to study Musical Theatre at Coastal Carolina University in Conway, South Carolina. This was where I honed in on my craft which eventually led me to becoming an intern at Florida repertory Theatre in Fort Myers, Florida after graduation. After my internship I’ve got a job at Legends In Concert in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and that’s where my career really took off. From there I moved to Las Vegas and I also performed in the Mediterranean for Norwegian Cruise Lines. I starred in two shows on the Las Vegas strip and really made the town of Las Vegas home. After Big Brother I moved to Los Angeles to pursue a hosting career which I was able to see through and I learned so much working for Afterbuzz TV! When the pandemic hit I moved in with my boyfriend in New Orleans, LA and have been out here ever since!

Growing up did you ever think you’d get into reality tv?

RS: Absolutely not! Coming from an entertainment background I knew I wanted to do something in the television industry but at the time reality television was looked down upon. I didn’t think I could have an acting career if I appeared on a reality show. But things have really changed. Heck, even Big Brother offers a soap opera contract to someone right after the show. When I moved to Vegas the possibilities seemed endless. I was laid off from my show and I had recently met Jackie from Season 17. She was a dancer and she gave me hope that I could audition for the show, and one year later that’s exactly what I did!

If you could host any show what would it be?

RS: If I could host ANY show I would just love to do a reality roundup type show. Where I can talk about all my favorite reality shows and get PAID!

What is life like for you lately? Any up coming projects or anything?

RS: Life has been slow. I injured myself last year twice so I was recovering from that. But we are finally at a point where I can see the light at the end of the tunnel and I’m so happy! I recently flew out for a back up singer gig in Kansas, so the entertainment industry is coming back and better than ever!

You get to cast the next celebrity big brother, who are you casting:

RS: Tiffany Pollard and Kandy Muse. I need drag queens and DRAMA!

You’re stuck on a deserted island with 3 people from your big brother season, who are they?

RS: I would bring with me Kaitlyn, because she’s my best friend and will entertain me! Kaycee, because she will more than likely figure out how to get us out of that situation and probably Angela. Because she’s smart and can cook and also because we can hash out some past trauma.

And finally, if you could have dinner with three people who would they be and why?

RS: Jesus, because I believe and want confirmation that when I leave this earth I will be with him.

Lucille Ball because she is my comedic icon.

Mark Cuban because he seems like a great guy who gives amazing career advice! I want to thank all these people for influencing me in the best way possible.

From Heart Surgery to Criminal Justice to MTV, Jenna Compono is here in #Whitterview 31

It all started on The Real World Ex-Plosion, Jenna Compono's first show of many that aired on MTV. From there she moved on to The Challenge and was able to come out with some money from them after winning several challenges.  In this latest installment of the #Whitterview series, we get to know Jenna and her experiences on the shows she has been on.  Lets get to it! Meet Jenna Compono!  Tell me about yourself JC: I grew up in NY with a huge family. I am one of six and have over 50 first cousins. My mom is one of seven and my dad is one of eight, so you can imagine the amount of cousins at my family parties! I loved growing up with a huge family. We did everything together, birthdays, holidays, vacations, graduations etc. I recently just became an aunt for the first time to baby Stella, who is absolutely adorable. Right now I nanny and do reality TV which takes up a good amount of my time, besides working I love going to the gym and hot pilates when ...

Two Time Challenge Champ Ashley Mitchell in Whitterview 48

I'm sure we've all asked ourselves about what would we do if we won a million dollars? I have, countless times. So I decided to go to the queen of MTV's The Challenge and ask the million dollar winner herself. We first met Ashley Mitchell on The Real World: Ex-Plosion, from there she went on to gracing our television screens on The Challenge series. Ashley is at the top of the list for Challenge vets as she has won the most money. She won season 29 and season 32 (Invasion of the Champions and Final Reckoning.) She won a million dollars in season 32. I mean, she does hold the record for most money won by a cast member and the record for the most money won in a single season- so that does make her the queen, am I right? I couldn't be the only one shocked that she went home right away this new season of The Challenge. (Yo- wish she could have been brought back somehow to shake up the game!) Anyway, with all this being said let's get to know the queen herself in...

Jessica Kelsey Amlee of Greenhouse Academy in Whitterview 26

Last year, a new show popped up under my Netflix options and it seemed interesting enough for me to start since I needed yet another show to help me procrastinate my college homework. Oh, what's the show called you ask? Greenhouse Academy. Check it out and catch up the first two seasons on Netflix. On Greenhouse Academy you'll meet troubled girl Jackie, new to the Greenhouse Academy after just having robbed a bank. Jackie is played by Jessica Kelsey Amlee who you will get the chance to meet right now. Tell me about who you are: JKA: I am originally from Vancouver, Canada. More specifically a little suburb just outside of Vancouver, called, Maple Ridge. A very little town, where everyone knows each other; Which ensues safety and drama. I personally believe I have the greatest parents in the world (though most people think the same.) My parents met when they started a band called Cream Soda (in the 80’s), my father being the drummer and my mom the singer. My dad now...
