Sylvia Elsrode Lira in Whitterview 82

... Test! Test! Is this thing on??

My goodness, its been just a little over a year since my last interview. I can't believe that. I always promised myself I'd make it to 100 of these, and we are one more closer. If you are new here, hi, welcome to the Whitterview. The Whitney/Interview, with the stars, athletes, musicians, influencers.

I am so excited to be back and for my first interview back to be someone I've watched on TV for years. Someone I've always loved who tells it straight, who doesn't mess around, and who is just beautiful. She has such a good heart and I am so happy to have you our reader learn about the beautiful Sylvia Elsrode/Lira from MTV's The Challenge.

Sylvia has completed three seasons of The Challenge (one of which she saw a final and came in 2nd) and two seasons of The Challenge All Stars.  Between the five seasons total, she has five daily wins and has seen eight eliminations (only losing three!)

Before The Challenge, Sylvia first graced our screens with The Real World: Skeletons.

Ok! Enough talk! Let's get to the interview.

Introducing........ The Tom Hardy loving Sagittarius queen: Sylvia!

Tell me about you:

SL: I was born in Houston, Tx (Spring area) Moved to Kansas City after my parents divorced and grew up in Olathe for the majority of my younger years before making the move to the Northland. I know it's hard to understand but if you're from or know the area you'll know. I've always had an extremely blended family. I have three brothers and three sisters all together. If I tried to explain how it all works we'd be here for hours. So when I met my husband and he had a son I knew I wanted to make him feel as loved as my mom made all my siblings. It's just how I was raised.

Growing up did you ever think youā€™d get into reality tv?
SL: Never in my wildest dreams did I think I'd be on reality TV. Looking back at it now I laugh because in 7th grade I was voted most likely to be on reality TV and now look at me!

Tell me about your time on The Real World, is there anything you would have done differently?
SL: Being on real world was such a wild experience. It came at the craziest of times. I had just gotten out of an extremely toxic/abusive relationship and was looking for almost something to prove that I was on the right path and then boom I'm off to Chicago. I wouldn't say I'd do anything different. I was young and dumb. That's how you live and learn. I do wish I wasn't sick the majority of time. I feel like I could have enjoyed it more. I was sick for basically two and half of the three months we were there.

How did you get casted for The Real World?
SL: This is actually a really funny story. I was just a reference for a girl who actually auditioned to be on the show. They needed someone she didn't really get along with. So I said sure why not. I bet she really regrets that now because I ended up being the one casted.

As for the challenge flagship what was your favorite season?
SL: My favorite season would have to be Final Reckoning. I was on it with my closest friends from the show Shane, Amanda, and Ashley otherwise known as the Lavender Ladies. Basically we ran the show so that'll forever be my favorite.

Challenge All Stars 5. tell me about your time there. What was your favorite daily to compete in? What were you feeling when you heard the word ā€œrivalsā€ did you automatically know who yours was?
SL:  I don't really have a lot of thoughts towards AS5 we were only there for a week. We really didn't get to compete in much and I wish we would have because they always do the fun ones later in the season. I knew immediately I was going to be with KA. That was the most recent rival I had. So I wasn't shocked at all.

If you got to choose your partner for the next season who would you choose?
SL: I can from the bottom of my heart say. I don't really have a favorite person. So I wouldn't care who I was partnered with as long as they were able to communicate.

Is there any other reality show you would like to compete on?
SL: I would love to do the amazing race with my mom. I think we'd make great TV!

Besides being in the spotlight, what else do you do for work?
SL: My real career is in real estate and I absolutely love it. So when I get the call to do these it's just a little bonus for the year but my heart will always be here with my career and family!

And finally if you could have dinner with 3 people who would they be and why?
SL: Id want to have dinner with my guys. My husband and my kids. They are what bring me joy every single day. As cheesy as that sounds but its so real.

From Heart Surgery to Criminal Justice to MTV, Jenna Compono is here in #Whitterview 31

Meet Jenna Compono!  Tell me about yourself JC: I grew up in NY with a huge family. I am one of six and have over 50 first cousins. My mom is one of seven and my dad is one of eight, so you can imagine the amount of cousins at my family parties! I loved growing up with a huge family. We did everything together, birthdays, holidays, vacations, graduations etc. I recently just became an aunt for the first time to baby Stella, who is absolutely adorable. Two Time Challenge Champ Ashley Mitchell in Whitterview 48

I'm sure we've all asked ourselves about what would we do if we won a million dollars? I have, countless times. So I decided to go to the queen of MTV's The Challenge and ask the million dollar winner herself. We first met Ashley Mitchell on The Real World: Ex-Plosion, from there she went on to gracing our television screens on The Challenge series. Ashley is at the top of the list for Challenge vets as she has won the most money. She won season 29 and season 32 (Invasion of the Champions and Final Reckoning.) She won a million dollars in season 32. I mean, she does hold the record for most money won by a cast member and the record for the most money won in a single season- so that does make her the queen, am I right? I couldn't be the only one shocked that she went home right away this new season of The Challenge. (Yo- wish she could have been brought back somehow to shake up the game!) Anyway, with all this being said let's get to know the queen herself in...
